Business Advisers of Cleveland (BAC) honored three clients at its annual awards luncheon Tuesday, May 15th. Winners were Joni Nowak of Lakewood Learning Center, Trevor Bundy of Diversified Labor Support and Bruce Corson of Patient Computer Help for Grownups.
Nowak received the Pinnacle Award for her successful business. The Lakewood Learning Center provides e-learning opportunities for medical and education professionals to become certified or re-certified. The proverbial serial entrepreneur, Nowak received awards in past years for two other businesses related to her profession as a critical care registered nurse. The first was for publishing a popular children’s book, Sebastian Breaks for Freedom and the second was for her business, Minutes Matter LLC, which provides training in CPR, AED, First Aid.
Two other individuals received BAC’s On the Road to Success awards. Diversified Labor Support’s founder, Trevor Bundy, accepted the award for increasing revenues at an extraordinary rate in a relatively short time. His company provides traveling skilled trades and labor across the nation to various business such as construction, power, manufacturing, transportation, mining and agriculture.
Bruce Corson, founder of Patient Computer Help for Grown-ups, accepted his award for successfully defining a niche need for his services and then maintaining a steady stream of new clients primarily by word-of-mouth. Corson specializes in providing active adult retirement communities with computer training and troubleshooting.
“We are pleased with the quality of the award-winners this year and look forward to being available to them for as much counseling as they need as they continue traveling the road to even greater success,” said Roger Vail, BAC president.
